My Bio

I arrived at Santa Cruz in 1992 to pursue my dream of being an artist. I received my undergraduate degree in Art at the University of California at Santa Cruz. From there I joined the Peace Corps and traveled to Mali, West Africa. After the Peace Corps I lived in Paris, France and worked as an apprentice to a local glass artist. In 1997 I attended Monterey Bay State University and received my CLAD Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Four years later I went back to school at San Jose State and earned a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Art. I have been teaching in Santa Cruz County since 1997 and am thrilled to be teaching Art at Aptos High.
