- Spanish Literature AP
Grade Level: 9-12
Prerequisite: "B" or better in Spanish Language AP; "B" or better in English and Teacher recommendation.
AP Spanish Literature prepares students
for the AP Spanish Literature Examination. Students are expected to take
the AP Exam; any student who does not take the AP Exam will have their grade
reduced (an "A" becomes a "B", etc.). Students focus on contemporary Hispanic Literature, specifically on the five authors included in the AP Test. All language skills practiced in AP Spanish Language are further enhanced, especially reading and writing. This course is equivalent to a third-year college course in Spanish and/or Hispanic American Literature.
