Prerequisite: Prerequisite: "C" or better in Spanish 2
The 3rd year course expands vocabulary ,
accelerates oral comprehension and expression, raises reading proficiency,
and hones written communication. These goals are reached throughdirected
conversation, simulations, group study, and presentations. Literature from
throughout the spanish -speaking world is enjoyed in the forms of humor,
drama, folk tales, and legends.; At appropriate times, historical and cultural
events are commemorated. During the course , students learn to observe and
describe people and actions, to identify articles and practices of personal
grooming. to prioritize and delegate household chores , to ask for and give
directions about town, to make a date, plan a weekend, and schedule a vacation.
Time for study outside of class is essential, with assighnments requiring
reading, writing, and review dily. The semester finals include both written
and oral tasks.
