· YEARBOOK (Must Be Taken For Entire Year) (Year) Grade Level: 11-12 Prerequisite: Teacher recommendation in one of the following areas: English, Art, Business, or Photography as well as Yearbook Advisor approval: A Yearbook Staff Applicationmust be returned to the Yearbook teacher prior to registration. This course is for the highly motivated student wishing to produce a high quality publication. Students must be able to accept responsibility and work independently to meet deadlines. Emphasis on copy writing, layout, interviewing, ad sales, and photography skills. Students should expect 2-5 hours a week of outside class time if needed. Enrollment in a summer yearbook workshop is strongly recommended. May be repeated for credit.
