050119 is the AHS high school code for SAT, SAT Subject Tests, and ACT
All sophomores and juniors take the PSAT in October during the school day (Do not need to register).
The Pre-Act is also offered in the fall, for a small fee on a Saturday. (Register at AHS).
Ways to Register for the SAT or the ACT:

SAT Information
Who: Juniors are recommended to take the SAT (or ACT) for part of their college admissions. Juniors are recommended to take the SAT for the first time in the spring and a second time during the fall of the senior year. Seniors should take the test no later than December of the senior year. (Check with each campus, as acceptable test dates may vary).
What: The SAT is one tool designed to assess student academic readiness for college. The test has three parts: Critical Reading, Math, and Writing.
When & Where: The SAT and other College Board tests are offered several times a year at various local high school campuses. Registration is online and students can specify a designate campus to take the test.
Why: CSU, UC, and many private and/or out of state schools will require one SAT OR ACT (with writing) score.

SAT Subject Information (formerly known as the SAT II)
Who: Juniors and Seniors (some sophomores) taking AP/Honors or upper-level courses, students planning to apply to private schools, students with a passion for subjects not covered on the SAT should consider taking Subject Tests.
What: The SAT Subject Tests are one tool designed to assess student academic readiness for college. Tests are offered in several areas including math, history, science, literature, and languages. Certain college majors require subject tests. For example, many engineering programs require Math II and Chemistry and/or Physics.
When & Where: The SAT Subject Tests are offered several times a year at various local high school campuses. Students are encouraged to test in the Spring after completing the bulk of the course. Registration is online and students can specify a designate campus to take the test. Please note, languages with listening tests are only offered in November. Students can take up to three Subject Tests in one seating.

Tips for sending scores to CSU & UC:
- CSU
SAT-The school code 3594 allows you to send your scores to all CSU campuses in lieu of paying to send scores to each CSU.
ACT- If you send your scores to 1 campus, you can release your scores to all campuses in your Cal State Apply account.
- UC
SAT & ACT- If you send your scores to 1 UC, they will share your info with all other UC campuses.
