Educationally Related Mental Health Services Counselor
The Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMS) counselor provides learning, social-emotional and behavioral support to students receiving special education services.
In order for a student to receive Educationally Related Mental Health Services, a student's Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) team must discuss and authorize the service.
Students receiving special education services that are experiencing learning challenges should discuss them with their IEP team.
